BLE Profile

  • Create a BLE profile.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > Profile > Bluetooth Service > BLE Profile. The BLE Profile List page is displayed.
    2. Click Create. The Create BLE Profile page is displayed.
    3. Enter the name of the new BLE profile in Profile name.

      To copy all parameters from another profile to the new profile, select the name of the profile in Copy parameters from other profiles. If None is selected, parameters are not copied from another profile.

    4. Click OK. The parameter setting page of the new BLE profile is displayed.



    5. Set parameters for creating a BLE profile. Table 1 describes the parameters for creating a BLE profile.

      Parameter

      Description

      BLE Profile

      Name of the BLE profile, which cannot be modified.

      Bluetooth broadcast

      Broadcast

      Whether to enable Bluetooth broadcast of the AP's built-in Bluetooth module.

      Broadcast UUID value

      Universally unique identifier (UUID) of BLE broadcast frames sent by the AP's built-in Bluetooth module.

      Broadcast Major value

      Major field of BLE broadcast frames sent by the AP's built-in Bluetooth module.

      Broadcast Minor value

      Minor field of BLE broadcast frames sent by the AP's built-in Bluetooth module.

      Transmit power

      Transmit power of the AP's built-in Bluetooth module.

      Broadcast interval

      Interval for the AP's built-in Bluetooth module to send BLE broadcast frames.

      RSSI calibration value

      RSSI calibration value.

      Bluetooth Scanning

      Monitoring surrounding BLE devices

      Whether to monitor surrounding BLE devices.

      Monitoring mode

      Working mode of the AP's built-in Bluetooth module.

      Data reporting

      Whether to enable the AP to report Bluetooth packets.

      Data reporting time

      Whether to enable the AP to report Bluetooth packets in real time or periodically.

      Data reporting period

      Interval at which the AP reports Bluetooth packets.

      Data reporting mode

      Data reporting mode.

      Server connection

      Destination IP address and port number or domain name of Bluetooth packets reported by the AP.

      AC port number

      Destination port number on the AC to which the AP reports Bluetooth packets.

      Source address of outgoing packets Source IP address of Bluetooth packets reported by the AP.

    6. Click Apply. In the Info dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
  • Modify a BLE profile.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > Profile > Bluetooth Service > BLE Profile. The BLE Profile page is displayed.
    2. Click the name of the BLE profile that you want to modify. The BLE profile configuration page is displayed.
    3. Modify parameters of the BLE profile. Table 1 describes the parameters for modifying a BLE profile.
    4. Click Apply. In the Info dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
  • Delete a BLE profile.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > Profile > Bluetooth Service > BLE Profile. The BLE Profile page is displayed.
    2. Select the profile that you want to delete and click Delete. In the Confirm dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
  • Clear BLE profiles.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > Profile > Bluetooth Service > BLE Profile. The BLE Profile page is displayed.
    2. Click Clear. In the Confirm dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
  • Display the profile reference relationship.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > Profile > Bluetooth Service > BLE Profile. The BLE Profile page is displayed.
    2. Select the profile of which you want to display the reference relationship and click Display Reference Relationship. The system displays the types and names of the objects that reference the profile.

      Click Hide Reference Relationship. The system hides the displayed results.
