Network Connection Capability Profile

Context

You can configure Hotspot2.0 services for networks. When user terminals connect to the networks, they can obtain network connection capability information from APs, including allowed protocols and ports, which helps them to select desired networks.

Procedure

  • Create a connection capability profile.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > Profile > Wireless Service > Network Connection Capability Profile. The Network Connection Capability Profile List page is displayed.
    2. Click Create. The Create Network Connection Capability Profile page is displayed.
    3. Enter the name of the new connection capability profile in Profile name.

      To copy all parameters from another profile to the new profile, select the name of the profile in Copy parameters from other profiles. If None is selected, parameters are not copied from another profile.

    4. Click OK. The parameter setting page of the new connection capability profile is displayed.



    5. Set parameters for creating a connection capability profile. For description of the parameters, see Table 1.

      Description

      Network Connection Capability Profile

      Name of the connection capability profile, which cannot be modified.

      Enable all

      Whether to enable all protocols.

      ESP

      Whether to enable ESP (port number 0).

      ICMP

      Whether to enable ICMP (port number 0).

      FTP

      Whether to enable FTP (port number 20).

      HTTP

      Whether to enable HTTP (port number 80).

      PPTP for VPN service

      Whether to enable PPTP for VPN services (port number 1723).

      SSH

      Whether to enable SSH (port number 22).

      TLS VPN

      Whether to enable TLS VPN (port number 443).

      VoIP

      Whether to enable VoIP (port number 5060).

      IKEv2

      Whether to enable IKEv2 (port number 4500 or 500).

      VoIP

      Whether to enable UDP VoIP (port number 5060).

    6. Click Apply.
  • Modify a connection capability profile.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > Profile > Wireless Service > Network Connection Capability Profile. The Network Connection Capability Profile List page is displayed.
    2. Click the name of the connection capability profile that you want to modify. The connection capability profile configuration page is displayed.
    3. Modify parameters for the connection capability profile. For description of the parameters, see Table 1.
    4. Click Apply.
  • Delete a connection capability profile.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > Profile > Wireless Service > Network Connection Capability Profile. The Network Connection Capability Profile List page is displayed.
    2. Select the profile that you want to delete and click Delete. In the Confirm dialog box that is displayed, click OK.
  • Display the profile reference relationship.
    1. Choose Configuration > Wireless Services > Profile > Wireless Service > Network Connection Capability Profile. The Network Connection Capability Profile List page is displayed.
    2. Select the profile of which you want to display the reference relationship and click Display Reference Relationship. The system displays the types and names of the objects that reference the profile.

      Click Hide Reference Relationship. The system hides the displayed results.
