The display snmp-agent trap feature-name mcast all command displays the status of all traps on the MCAST module.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After the trap function of a specified feature is enabled, you can run the display snmp-agent trap feature-name mcast all command to check the status of all traps of MCAST. You can use the snmp-agent trap enable feature-name mcast command to enable the trap function of MCAST.

Prerequisites

SNMP has been enabled. See snmp-agent for details on how to enable SNMP.

Feature name

Name of the module that the trap belongs to.

Trap number

Number of traps.

Trap name

Name of a trap. Traps of the MCAST module include:

  • hwBoardL2mcResLack: Huawei proprietary trap that is sent when the L2MC index resources are insufficient.

  • hwBoardL2mcResLackResume: Huawei proprietary trap that is sent when the alarm on L2MC index resource insufficiency is cleared.

  • hwBoardIpmcResLack: Huawei proprietary trap that is sent when the IPMC index resources are insufficient.

  • hwBoardIpmcResLackResume: Huawei proprietary trap that is sent when the alarm on IPMC index resource insufficiency is cleared.

Default switch status

Default status of the trap function:
  • on: indicates that the trap function is enabled by default.

  • off: indicates that the trap function is disabled by default.

Current switch status

Status of the trap function:

  • on: indicates that the trap function is enabled.

  • off: indicates that the trap function is disabled.
