max-packet-size (SMI view)

Function

The max-packet-size command sets the maximum size of packets sent by the switch to report KPI information to CampusInsight.

The undo max-packet-size command restores the default maximum size of packets sent by the switch to report KPI information to CampusInsight.

By default, the maximum size of packets sent by the switch to report KPI information to CampusInsight is 5 KB.

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
size Specifies the maximum packet size. The value is an integer in the range from 5 to 15, in KB.

Usage Guidelines

According to the network condition, you can run this command to set the maximum size of packets sent by the switch to report KPI information to CampusInsight. If the network condition is poor, set the maximum size of packets sent by the switch to report KPI information to CampusInsight to a smaller value to reduce packet loss.

Example

# Set the maximum size of packets sent by the switch to report KPI information to CampusInsight to 10 KB.
