private report-protocol

Function

The private report-protocol command sets a protocol type for APs to report information.

The undo private report-protocol command restores the default protocol type used by APs to report information.

By default, an AP uses UDP to reports information.

Format

private report-protocol { udp | http }

undo private report-protocol

Parameters

Sets the protocol type to UDP.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If APs are used to report location data to a server, you can specify the protocol type to UDP.

If the AC is used to report location data to a server, you can specify the protocol type to HTTP or UDP.
