reset boot password

Function

The reset boot password command resets the password of the BootROM/Bootload menu to Admin@huawei.com.

By default, in versions earlier thanV100R006C03, the password of the BootROM is huawei, in V100R006C03 and later versions, the password of the BootROM/Bootload is Admin@huawei.com.

Format

reset boot password [ slot slot-id ]

Usage Guidelines

If you forget the password of the BootROM/Bootload menu, use the reset boot password command to set the password to Admin@huawei.com. Then you can use this password to enter the BootROM/Bootload menu.
