The reset mdns gateway statistics command clears statistics on the mDNS gateway.

Usage Guidelines

During routine maintenance and fault location, you can view statistics on mDNS packets received and sent by the mDNS gateway in a given period of time. Before viewing the statistics, run the reset mdns gateway statistics command to delete existing statistics. Then the mDNS gateway recollects statistics on received and sent mDNS packets. You can run the display mdns gateway statistics command to view statistics on mDNS packets received and sent by the mDNS gateway.

Cleared statistics on the mDNS gateway cannot be restored. Exercise caution when you use the reset mdns gateway statistics command.
