snmp-agent trap enable feature-name efm

Function

The snmp-agent trap enable feature-name efm command enables the trap function for the EFM module.

The undo snmp-agent trap enable feature-name efm command disables the trap function for the EFM module.

By default, the trap function is disabled for the EFM module.

Format

snmp-agent trap enable feature-name efm [ trap-name { nonthreshold | threshold | nonthredholdrecovery | dyinggasp | loopbackfailed } ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
trap-name

Enables or disables the trap function for the specified event.

nonthreshold

Enables the device to send a trap when a non-threshold crossing event occurs.

threshold

Enables the device to send a trap when a threshold crossing event occurs.

nonthredholdrecovery

Enables the device to send a trap when a non-threshold fault is rectified.

loopbackfailed

Enables the device to send a trap when loopback fails.

dyinggasp

Enables the device to send a trap when a remote Dying Gasp event occurs.

Usage Guidelines

You can specify trap-name to enable the trap function for one or more events.
