Usage Guidelines

When the trap function is enabled, the switch generates traps and uses SNMP to send traps to the NMS. When the trap function is not enabled, the switch does not generate traps and the SNMP module does not send traps to the NMS.

You can specify trap-name to enable the trap function for one or more events.

Example

# Enable the switch to send a Huawei proprietary trap when the L2MC index resources are insufficient.
