update online-mode

Function

The update online-mode command sets the online update mode of the application identification signature database.

The undo update online-mode command restores the default setting.

By default, the online update is in HTTPS mode.

update online-mode { http | https }

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

This setting applies only to online update in direct update scenarios (including scheduled update and immediate update) but not online update through a proxy server.

Update in HTTP mode is risky, and update in HTTPS mode is recommended.

Prerequisites

Before running this command, you must run the defence engine enable command to enable the IAE.
