Impact on the System

The address pool may be exhausted.

In such a case, new users who are on the same network segment as the address pool cannot go online.

Possible Causes

The number of IP addresses in the address pool exceeded the threshold.

Procedure

1. Run the display ip pool command to view the status of IP addresses in the address pool.

  • If the address pool contains conflicting IP addresses, go to Step 2.
  • If some IP addresses in the address pool have not been used, go to Step 3.

2. Run the conflict auto-recycle command to configure the interval for automatically reclaiming conflicting IP addresses. After conflicting IP addresses are reclaimed, these IP addresses become available and can be assigned to clients.

3. Run the recycle command to reclaim the IP addresses for further assignment.
