Trap Buffer Description

The IPv6 addresses in the IPv6 pool is exhausted.(IPv6PoolIndex=[IPv6PoolIndex],IPv6PoolName=[IPv6PoolName])

Addresses in the IPv6 address pool were exhausted and alarm was executed when an IPv6 address is not assigned.

In VS mode, this trap is supported only by the admin VS.

This alarm is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Impact on the System

Subsequent users will not be able to branch to address from this address pool.

Possible Causes

Addresses in the IPv6 address pool were exhausted and became unavailable.

Procedure

1. Check the usage of the IPv6 address pool bound to the domain and check whether addresses are adequate for users who access the Internet through this domain.

  • If the addresses are enough, delete the alarm manually.
  • If the addresses are not enough, go to Step 2.

2. Bind a new IPv6 address pool to the domain.

3. Check whether the alarm persists.

  • If the alarm persists, go to Step 4.
  • If not, go to Step 5.

4. Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

5. End.
