Impact on the System

A power failure may lead to power supply insufficiency, causing the board to reset. This indirectly affects services, and therefore this problem needs to be solved.

Possible Causes

One of the internal switches on a power module was not closed.

Procedure

1. Check whether the switches on the power panel are off.

  • If one or more switches are not off, go to Step 2.
  • If all switches are off, go to Step 3.

2. Turn off the switches and check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If so, go to Step 6.
  • If not, go to Step 3.

3. Run the slave switchover command to perform an active/standby switchover.

Check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If so, go to Step 6.
  • If not, go to Step 4.

4. Replace the power module. Power off the faulty power module before replacing it.

Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If so, go to Step 6.
  • If not, go to Step 5.

5. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

6. End.
