1. If dual MPUs are used, no services are affected but reliability is degraded.
2. If a single MPU is deployed, the entire chassis is restarted and all services on the chassis are interrupted.
3. The chassis is reset if no backup channel is available, and services on the chassis are interrupted.
1. Check whether the LEDs of corresponding interfaces on the MPU blink. If the cable between the chassis is inserted properly but the LEDs do not blink, replace the cable and check whether the alarm is cleared. If the alarm persists, perform the next step.
2. Replace the MPU and check whether the alarm is cleared. If the alarm persists, perform the next step.
3. Collect log files and contact Huawei technical support personnel.
