Impact on the System

The quality of the specified multicast channel is poor.

Possible Causes

The rate of disordered bier channel packets was too large.

Procedure

1.According to the Bier eMDI statistical information to confirm the fault equipment. (Bier eMDI does not differentiate upstream and downstream traffic. Bier eMDI needs to globally analyze fault points on the entire network based on information about each detection point.)

2.Replace optical modules or optical fibers of faulty equipment. Then check whether the trap is cleared.

  • If the trap is cleared, go to Step 4.
  • If the trap persists, go to Step 3.

3.Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

4.End.
