Impact on the System

If the number of used SIDs reached a specific threshold, subsequent LSPs may fail to be established because all SIDs are used.

Possible Causes

SID resource usage reached a specified upper threshold.

Procedure

1. Run the display gresm sid-pool command to check the SID range. Check whether all services that use the SID resources are necessary. Delete some unwanted services that use SIDs and check whether the hwSidResourceThresholdExceedClear alarm is generated.

  • If the clear alarm is generated, go to Step 3.
  • If the clear alarm is not generated, go to Step 2.

2. Collect the trap information, log information, and configuration information, and then contact Huawei technical support personnel.
