NAT_1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.240.2.26 hwCGNUserIPNumAlarm

Trap Buffer Description

The number of pre-allocated NAT64 IP that are obtained from the public network address pool reaches the upper limit. (AddrGroupName=[AddrGroupName], InstanceType=[InstanceType], InstanceName=[InstanceName], Threshold=[Threshold], Pre-IPNum=[Pre-IPNum], Slot=[Slot], Cpu=[Cpu])

IP address usage of a NAT64 instance no-PAT public address pool reached a specified threshold.

In VS mode, this trap is supported only by the admin VS.

This alarm is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Impact on the System

When the alarm is generated, services are not affected. If users increase and consume all IP addresses that can be allocated from a public IP address pool, the NAT64 device fails to assign IP addresses from the public IP address pool to users.

Possible Causes

In no-PAT scenarios, each user is assigned a single IP address from a public address pool. The user and IP address are in 1:1 mapping. When users increase, IP address usage of the public address pool reached a specified threshold.

Procedure

1.Run the display this command in the NAT64 instance view to check whether the "threshold" is to be increased. - If the trap is cleared, go to Step 2. - If the trap persists, go to Step 3. 2.Run the nat64 alarm address-group port-number threshold command to increase the threshold. Check whether the fault is rectified. - If the trap is cleared, go to Step 5. - If the trap persists, go to Step 3. 3.Expand an address pool based on the live network, and check whether the alarm is cleared. - If the trap is cleared, go to Step 5. - If the trap persists, go to Step 4. 4.Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel. 5.End
