If the interface status of the virtual link changes from Down to P2P (Point-to-Point), this trap message is informational only, and no action is required.
If the interface status of the virtual link changes from P2P to Down, the virtual link will be disconnected, the OSPF route calculation will be incorrect, and services may be interrupted.
1. If the interface status of the virtual link changes from Down to P2P (Point-to-Point), this trap message is informational only, and no action is required.
2. If the interface status of the virtual link changes from P2P to Down, check whether a route with the outbound interface being the virtual link interface exists. If the route does not exist, check the reason why the route does not exist. If the route exists, check whether the configurations of the local and peer virtual link interfaces are correct.
