Impact on the System

The 1588 ACR recovery performance will deteriorate.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The frequency offset of the traced source in synchronization Ethernet was too great.

Cause 2: The received timestamp was incorrect in 1588v2 frequency synchronization mode.

Cause 3: The DSP internal frequency control word exceeded +/-10 ppm.

Procedure

1. Run the display clock source command to check whether the current system trace source is PTP.

  • If the current system trace source is PTP, go to step 2.
  • If the current system trace source is not PTP, go to step 4.

2. Run the display current-configuration command to check whether PTP configurations need to be changed.

  • If PTP configurations need to be changed, go to step 3.
  • If PTP configurations do not need to be changed, go to step 6.

3. Reconfigure the local PTP attributes. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to step 7.
  • If the alarm persists, go to step 6.

4. Run the display clock config command to check whether clock source configurations need to be changed.

  • If clock source configurations need to be changed, go to step 5.
  • If clock source configurations do not need to be changed, go to step 6.

5. Reconfigure the local clock source attributes. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to step 7.
  • If the alarm persists, go to step 6.

6. Collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel.

7. End.
