Trap Buffer Description

The ptp standard time offset is abnormal. (hwPtpStandardTimeOffset=[hwPtpStandardTimeOffset], hwPtpAlarmThresholdStandardTimeOffset=[hwPtpAlarmThresholdStandardTimeOffset])

The PTP absolute time offset exceeded the threshold.

In VS mode, this trap is supported only by the admin VS.

Impact on the System

The absolute offset of the time source traced by the current device is large, which leads to poor precision.

Possible Causes

The deviation between the external baseline reference time and PTP time is out of the specified value range.

Procedure

1. Adjust the time of the current PTP time source to be the same as the external baseline time, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

If so, go to Step 3.
If not, go to Step 2.

2. Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel.
