Trap Buffer Description

The buffersize on slot [slot-id] chip [chip-id] has reached [buffer-size]%.

A warning alarm is generated when the queue buffer usage reaches 90% of the threshold. An alarm is generated when the queue buffer usage reaches 98% of the threshold.

In VS mode, this trap is supported only by the admin VS.

Possible Causes

The buffersize was overloaded.

Procedure

1. Reduce the traffic volume. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.
  • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

2. Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
