Impact on the System

  • Cause 1: The board was reset or became faulty or the board was removed in the case of normal TWAMP session status, causing the number of TWAMP sessions on the session-responder to exceed the device capability.

    The excess TWAMP sessions on the session-responder cannot work properly.

  • Cause 2: This alarm is generated when the number of TWAMP responder sessions configured on the device exceeds the device capability.

    The excess TWAMP sessions on the session-responder cannot work properly.

  • Cause 3: This alarm is generated when a link-bundle TWAMP responder session has excessive trunk member interfaces.

    The excess TWAMP sessions on the session-responder cannot work properly.

  • Cause 4: This alarm is generated when a standard TWAMP reflector attempts to respond to a test session that exceeds the device capability.

    The standard TWAMP reflector session that exceeds the system capability cannot work properly.

Possible Causes

  • Cause 1: The board was reset or became faulty or the board was removed in the case of normal TWAMP session status, causing the number of TWAMP sessions on the session-responder to exceed the device capability.
  • Cause 2: This alarm is generated when the number of TWAMP responder sessions configured on the device exceeds the device capability.
  • Cause 3: This alarm is generated when a link-bundle TWAMP responder session has excessive trunk member interfaces.
  • Cause 4: This alarm is generated when a standard TWAMP reflector attempts to respond to a test session that exceeds the device capability.

Procedure

1. Delete some TWAMP sessions on the Session-Reflector, delete some trunk member interfaces of a link-bundle session, stop some standard TWAMP sessions, or insert a new board to increase the device capability. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, the TWAMP session status on the Session-Reflector is normal.
  • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

2. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
