Trap Buffer Description

The bit-error-detection session number in all the IO boards has reached the limit, the new bit-error-detection session can not be created. (TotalBitErrorDetectionSessionLimit=[TotalBitErrorDetectSessionLimit])

The number of all the BFD bit-error-detection sessions set up on interface boards reached the PAF upper limit and no more bit-error-detection session can be set up.

After the alarm is generated, do not power off or reset the device; otherwise, resources will be reassigned, and services will be affected.

Possible Causes

New BFD configurations were still committed when the number of global BFD bit-error-detection sessions reached the upper limit.

Procedure

1. Stop configuring BFD bit-error-detection sessions.

2. Delete unwanted BFD bit-error-detection sessions.

3. Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
