Impact on the System

Data cannot be exchanged between chassis. Data between the master chassis and the slave chassis cannot be forwarded normally.

Possible Causes

Cause1: The optical fibers were faulty.

Cause2: The SFE was faulty.

Procedure

1.Replace the optical fibers used for data channels and check whether the trap is cleared.

If so, go to Step 4.
If not, go to Step 2.

2.Replace the SFE and check whether the trap is cleared.

If so, go to Step 4.
If not, go to Step 3.

3.Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
