Impact on the System

The fan stops working. As a result, the board or ambient temperature may go up high,a speedy solution is required.

Possible Causes

The fan was installed unstably.

Procedure

1.Check if the fan is properly installed, if pins have bent, and if the fan connectors become faulty.

2.If the fan is not properly installed, re-install it.

3.If the pins on the backplane have bent, do not install a new fan into the faulty slot. Collect the information about alarms, logs, and configurations, and then contact technical support personnel.

4.If only the fan connectors are found faulty, replace the fan with a new one.

5.If services on the fan are abnormal, collect the information about alarms, logs, and configurations, and then contact technical support personnel.
