Impact on the System

PW APS failed.

Possible Causes

The PW bound to the APS instance was carried over a non-TE tunnel.

Procedure

1.Check the bearer tunnel type of the PW. In a VLL scenario, run the display mpls l2vc command to check the bearer tunnel type; in a VPLS scenario, run the display vsi name command to check the bearer tunnel type.

If the tunnel is a TE tunnel, go to Step 3.
If the tunnel is a non-TE tunnel, go to Step 2.

2.Configure a TE tunnel as the bearer tunnel. Then, check whether the alarm persists.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 4.
If the alarm is persists, go to Step 3.

3.Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

4.End.
