The status of a non-virtual OSPFv3 interface changed. The possible cause is that the non-virtual interface working as a physical interface went Down.

Impact on the System

This trap message is generated when the status of a common interface changes from a lower status to Full or from a higher status to a lower status. This trap message may affect the neighbor status. If the interface goes to a lower status such as Down, the neighbor relationship will be interrupted.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The status of a physical interface alternated between Up and Down.

Cause 2: An OSPFv3 relationship was being established.

Procedure

1. Run the display ospfv3 interface command to check the status of the interface.

If the interface is Down, go to Step 2.
If the interface is in another state, go to step 4.

2. Run the display interface [interface-type [interface-number]] command to check whether the interface is Up.

If the interface is Up, go to Step 3.
If the current interface is in other states, view the log file to check whether the command is configured on the interface.
If it is a misoperation, run the undo shutdown command on the interface. Otherwise, go to Step 4.
If the link is faulty, replace the link or go to step 3.

3. Collect log and configuration information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel.
