Impact on the System

If the PAF version is inconsistent with the version of the startup software package, the PAF file carried in the startup software package is started.
When the versions of the active and standby main control boards are inconsistent, the standby main control board cannot be started.
If the PTN startup mode does not match the mode selected during license activation, services in the mode selected during license activation may not take effect.

Possible Causes

The version in the PAF file is inconsistent with that of the startup software package.

Procedure

The PAF version was inconsistent with the version of the startup software package.

1. Replace the PAF file with a PAF file of the same version as the system software package. Run the startup paf command to set the PAF file as the one to be loaded at the next startup. Then, run the reboot command to restart the device.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

2. Collect alarm and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

3. No further action is required.
