Function

The set save-configuration checkpoint daily command sets the time when configuration rollback points are periodically generated.

The undo set save-configuration checkpoint daily command restores the default time when configuration rollback points are periodically generated.

By default, the system generates a configuration rollback point at 2:00 each day.

set save-configuration checkpoint daily time time

undo set save-configuration checkpoint daily time [ time ]

Usage Scenario

To enable the system to generate a configuration rollback point on each day, run the set save-configuration checkpoint daily command. The configuration rollback point files help perform device rollback.

Configuration Impact

After the set save-configuration checkpoint daily command is run, system configurations are periodically saved in configuration rollback point files. The file content varies with configurations. If system configurations remain unchanged compared with the last configuration rollback point, no new configuration rollback point is generated.
