next sid label

Function

The next sid label command sets a next-hop label on an explicit path to be established using labels configured in sequence.

The undo next sid label command deletes a specified next-hop label from an explicit path.

By default, no next-hop label is specified on an explicit path.

Format

next sid label label-value type { adjacency | prefix | binding-sid }

undo next sid label label-value [ type { adjacency | prefix | binding-sid } ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
label-value

Specifies a label value.

The value is an integer ranging from 16 to 1048575.

type

Specifies a label type.

adjacency

Indicates an adjacency label.

prefix

Indicates a node label.

binding-sid

Indicates a binding SID.

Usage Scenario

To set a next-hop label on an explicit path to be established using labels configured in sequence, run the next sid label command.

Prerequisites

MPLS TE has been enabled using the mpls te command in the MPLS view.

Follow-up Procedure

Run the display explicit-path command to view information about the explicit path.
