Usage Guidelines

To check whether an existing device meets the master board/slave board switchover condition, you can run the display switchover state command.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

Item Description
Chassis

Chassis Type,custom field,indicating whether the device is single chassis or multiple chassis.

Single indicates that an existing device is equipped with a single chassis.

Switchover State

Switchover status on the master board and slave board, for example:

  • Ready: The switchover can be implemented.
  • No slave: There is no slave board.
  • BatchBackup: Backup in batch is implemented.
  • Configuration is not commited: The configuration is not committed.
  • Slave Fault (Causation): The slave board is in an incorrect state.
Switchover Policy

Switchover policy:

  • Board Switchover: A board switchover is implemented.
  • Process Switchover: A process switchover is implemented.
MainBoard

Slot ID of the master board.

SlaveBoard

Slot ID of the slave board.
