Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After the LDP-IGP Synchronization is achieved and an LDP session is reestablished on a faulty link, LDP starts the igp-sync-delay timer to wait for the establishment of an LSP.

After the igp-sync-delay timer times out, LDP informs IGP that the synchronization is complete.

If a network contains a great number of routes, increase the timer value. The timer is set to 1 for every 400 routes. For example, set the timer to 25s for 10,000 routes.

Example

# Set the value of the igp-sync-delay timer to 5 seconds.
