The mpls mldp p2mp bfd-tunnel command sets the minimum interval at which BFD packets are sent and the BFD detection multiplier.
The undo mpls mldp p2mp bfd-tunnel command restores the default BFD parameters.
By default, BFD sessions use default parameter values.
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
min-tx-interval tx-interval |
Specifies the minimum interval at which BFD packets are sent. |
The value is an integer ranging from 3 to 20000, in milliseconds. The default value is 10. |
detect-multiplier multiplier |
Specifies the detection time multiplier.
|
The value is an integer ranging from 3 to 50. The default value is 3. |
Usage Scenario
After dynamic BFD for mLDP P2MP tunnel is enabled, a device uses default values to establish a BFD session. The default minimum interval at which BFD packets are sent is 10 ms, and the BFD detection multiplier is 3.
In real-world situations, to change default values, run the mpls mldp p2mp bfd-tunnel command to adjust BFD parameters to change the network convergence speed as needed. If a device does not receive BFD packets after the local effective BFD detection period, the device declares the BFD session Down.
