Function

The display gvrp statistics command displays GVRP information on a specific or all interfaces.

Format

display gvrp statistics [ interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
interface interface-type interface-number

Displays GVRP information on a specific interface:

  • <ifType> specifies the type of the interface.
  • <ifNum> specifies the number of the interface.

If interface <ifType> <ifNum> is not specified in the command, GVRP information on all interfaces is displayed.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To check GVRP information on a specific or all interfaces, run the display gvrp statistics command. The information includes GVRP status, number of GVRP registration failures, source MAC address of the last GVRP PDU, and GVRP registration mode on an interface.

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

# Display GVRP information on GE 0/1/17.

GVRP status:

  • Enabled.
  • Disabled.
GVRP registrations failed

Number of GVRP registration failures.

GVRP last PDU origin

Source MAC address of the last GVRP PDU.

GVRP registration type

GVRP registration mode, which can be configured using the gvrp registration command. The following modes are available:

  • Fixed.
  • Forbidden.
  • Normal.
