Usage Scenario

To check whether DCP configurations are correct, run the display ipfpm dcp command.

Specification Information(Main Board)

Specifications for the IPU.

Max 10s Instance Number

Maximum number of IP FPM instances with the period of 10 seconds supported by the main control board.

Max 1s Instance Number

Maximum number of IP FPM instances with the period of 1 second supported by the main control board.

Max Instance Number

Maximum number of IP FPM instances supported by the IPU.

Max TLP Number

Maximum number of TLPs supported by the IPU.

Max TLP Number Per Instance

Maximum number of TLPs supported by each IP FPM instance on the IPU.

Configuration Information

DCP configurations.

DCP ID

Data collecting point ID.

Loss-measure Flag

Packet loss measurement flag:

  • tos-bit3: third bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • tos-bit4: fourth bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • tos-bit5: fifth bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • tos-bit6: sixth bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • tos-bit7: seventh bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • flag-bit0: Bit 0 in the Flags field of the IPv4 packet header.
Delay-measure Flag

Delay measurement flag:

  • tos-bit3: third bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • tos-bit4: fourth bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • tos-bit5: fifth bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • tos-bit6: sixth bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • tos-bit7: seventh bit in the ToS field of the IPv4 packet header.
  • flag-bit0: Bit 0 in the Flags field of the IPv4 packet header.
Authentication Mode

Authentication mode for the DCP:

  • hmac-sha256: HMAC-SHA256 authentication.
  • --: non-authentication.
Test Instances MCP ID

Measurement control point ID in the IP FPM instance.

Test Instances MCP Port

User Datagram Protocol port number used by the DCP to communicate with the MCP in the IP FPM instance.

Current Instance Number

Number of IP FPM instances.
