The efm holdup-timer command sets a time during which the EFM OAM protocol state of an interface remains Down.
The undo efm holdup-timer command restores the default time.
By default, the time is 0 seconds.

Usage Scenario
After the efm trigger if-down command is run to associate EFM OAM with a specified interface, the link layer protocol status of the interface is set to Down if a link connectivity fault is detected. This triggers rapid route convergence, blocks services, and implements rapid route switchovers. If a link connectivity fault is rectified, the status of the interface will be set to Up after the time specified by the efm holdup-timer command. The EFM OAM protocol state of the interface does not change to Up within the specified time. After the time expires, EFM OAM checks the link connectivity again.
After the failed link recovers, EFM OAM works as follows:Prerequisites
EFM OAM has been globally enabled using the efm enable command in the system view.
Configuration Impact
After the efm holdup-timer command is run, the EFM OAM protocol state of an interface changes from Down to Up after the configured time expires and a link connectivity fault is rectified.
