Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To create a FEC list, run the fec-list command. A FEC list contains a set of FEC node addresses and is used to dynamically establish BFD sessions. The FEC list is used to dynamically establish BFD sessions so that the BFD sessions can monitor LDP LSPs that are mapped to FECs in the FEC list. Compared with establishing the BFD sessions that monitor all LSPs, establishing BFD sessions that monitor specified LSPs helps reduce network costs.

Follow-up Procedure

To add a FEC node to a FEC list, run the fec-node command.

Precautions

Only a single command instance can be configured.
