Function

The mldp p2mp command enables the mLDP P2MP capability.

The undo mldp p2mp command disables the mLDP P2MP capability.

By default, the mLDP P2MP capability is disabled.

Usage Scenario

To enable mLDP P2MP before you configure an mLDP P2MP LSP, run the mldp p2mp command.

Prerequisites

MPLS LDP has been enabled globally using the mpls ldp command.

Configuration Impact

After the mldp p2mp or undo mldp p2mp command is run, all the related LDP sessions are reestablished.

Precautions

mLDP P2MP tunnels can only be established in DU mode.
