Function

The mldp p2mp frr link-protection command enables mLDP P2MP FRR link protection.

The undo mldp p2mp frr link-protection command disables mLDP P2MP FRR link protection.

By default, mLDP P2MP FRR link protection is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

On a network with mLDP P2MP LSPs established, to enable mLDP P2MP FRR link protection, run the mldp p2mp frr link-protection command. If an mLDP link fails, mLDP P2MP FRR link protection initiates tunnel switching to implement rapid convergence, which minimizes traffic loss.

Prerequisites

mLDP P2MP has been enabled using the mldp p2mp command in the MPLS-LDP view.
