The measure disable command disables IP Flow Performance Measurement (IP FPM) performance statistics collection of a specified instance on a measurement control point (MCP).
The undo measure disable and measure enable commands function the same to enable IP FPM performance statistics collection for a specified instance on an MCP.
By default, IP FPM performance statistics collection is enabled for instances on an MCP.
Usage Scenario
When DCP configurations are being changed, the MCP may receive incorrect statistics from the DCP. To prevent this, run the measure disable command to disable IP FPM performance statistics collection of a specified instance on the MCP. After the DCP configuration change is complete, run the undo measure disable or measure enable command to enable IP FPM performance statistics collection for the specified instance on the MCP. This ensures accurate measurement.
Precautions
This configuration cannot be deleted separately, if the device does not configure IPFPM license.
