The mpls te igp advertise command enables the forwarding adjacency function, allowing a route associated with a TE tunnel functioning as a virtual link to be advertised to a network.
The undo mpls te igp advertise command disables the forwarding adjacency function.
By default, the forwarding adjacency function is disabled.
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
hold-time interval |
Specifies the time, after which the event that a tunnel goes Down is advertised. |
The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 4294967295, in milliseconds. The default value is 0. |
include-ipv6-isis |
Enables the IPv6 IS-IS forwarding adjacency function. |

Usage Scenario
The mpls te igp advertise command is configured on the ingress of a CR-LSP. The forwarding adjacency allows a route of a CR-LSP to be advertised to neighbors so that these neighbors can use this CR-LSP to transmit traffic.
Precautions
The hold-time interval parameter takes effect for OSPF and IS-IS.
The SR route's next hop cannot recurse to a tunnel interface. If IS-IS is enabled on a tunnel interface and the IS-IS process has the SRGB configured, SR labeled traffic may be discarded after the mpls te igp advertise command is run on the tunnel interface.
