The tunnel-detect-delay command configures the tunnel status check to be delayed by a specified period of time when the bearer tunnel of VPN instance multicast data changes.
The undo tunnel-detect-delay command restores the default configuration.
By default, the tunnel status check is delayed by 5s when the bearer tunnel of VPN instance multicast data changes.
Usage Scenario
In a scenario where dynamic BFD is configured for an inclusive-provider multicast service interface (I-PMSI) tunnel to monitor an RSVP-TE P2MP tunnel or mLDP P2MP tunnel dual-root 1+1 protection is configured, multicast data may be switched from the primary I-PMSI tunnel to the backup I-PMSI tunnel if the selective-provider multicast service interface (S-PMSI) tunnel is not ready during data switching. To solve this problem, start a tunnel status check delay timer on leaf PEs:
Configuration Impact
If the tunnel-detect-delay command is run more than once, the latest configuration overrides the previous one.
