The bier command configures a BIER I-PMSI tunnel.
The undo bier command restores the default configuration.
By default, no BIER I-PMSI tunnel is configured.
Usage Scenario
I-PMSI tunnels are the logical tunnels used by the public network to transmit VPN multicast data, and P-tunnels are the actual tunnels used by the public network to transmit VPN multicast data. A sender PE uses I-PMSI tunnels to send specific VPN multicast data to receiver PEs. The receiver PEs determine whether to accept the VPN multicast traffic based on I-PMSI tunnel information. I-PMSI tunnels can be created using P2MP TE, mLDP, or BIER. To configure a BIER I-PMSI tunnel, run the bier command.
