The reset slot command resets a board or subcard in a specified slot.

reset slot slot-id [ card card-id ]

card card-id	Resets a subcard in a specified slot.	The value is a string of 1 to 30 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.

Usage Scenario

When a board or subcard on a device is running abnormally, run the reset slot slot-id [ card card-id ] command to reset the board or subcard.

Precautions

The reset slot command can only be used when the board or subcard is running.

Before the board or subcard is reset, save important data in advance.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
