remote-pw-id (PWE3 Trace test instance)

Function

The remote-pw-id command sets a PW ID for a remote PE in multi-segment PW scenarios in a PWE3 trace test instance.

The undo remote-pw-id command restores the default PW ID for a remote PE.

If the VC type is LDP, the default PW ID is 0 for a remote PE.

Format

remote-pw-id pwIdValue

undo remote-pw-id

Usage Scenario

When you use NQA to monitor a multi-segment PW, run the remote-pw-id command to set a PW ID for a remote PE.

Precautions

If parameters need to be changed during the running of the test instance, the system prompts you whether to terminate the test instance. Press "Y" or "N" as required.

If you press "Y", the test instance is terminated and parameters changed. The settings take effect after being committed. To restart the test instance, run the start command.
If you press "N", the test instance keeps running, and the parameters fail to be modified.
