reset mpls te tunnel-interface

Function

The reset mpls te tunnel-interface tunnel command resets a TE tunnel interface and re-establishes a TE tunnel.

Format

reset mpls te tunnel-interface { interface-type interface-number | tunnel-name }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
interface-type

Specifies the interface type.

-

interface-number

Specifies the interface number.

-

tunnel-name

Specifies the P2MP TE tunnel name.

The value is a string of 1 to 255 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. The tunnel name must be the same as that in the configuration file, case-sensitive and spaces not supported. For example, if a configuration file specifies the tunnel interface "interface Tunnel10", the tunnel-name parameter must specify the P2MP TE tunnel as "Tunnel10". Both "Tunnel10" and "Tunnel 10" are incorrect.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The reset mpls te tunnel-interface tunnel command is used to allow a specified tunnel interface to re-establish an MPLS TE tunnel.

Configuration Impact

All CR-LSPs in a specified tunnel will be deleted and new CR-LSPs will be re-established.

If no explicit path is configured for a tunnel, resetting a tunnel causes a device to use existing link information to re-calculate a path. The calculate path may be different from the original path due to the delay in flooding bandwidth.

Example

# Reset tunnel 1.
