Function

The reset garp statistics command clears GARP statistics of a specific or all interfaces.

Format

reset garp statistics [ interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } ]

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

Before re-collecting GARP statistics on a specific interface within a certain period, run the reset garp statistics command to clear the existing GARP statistics of the interface.

The cleared GARP statistics include the number of GVRP PDUs that the interface sends, receives, and discards.

If the parameter interface is not specified in the command, GARP statistics on all interfaces are cleared.
If the parameter interface is specified in the command, GARP statistics on a specific interface are cleared.

Precautions

After the reset garp statistics command is run, statistics about all GARP PDUs are cleared and cannot be restored. Exercise caution when running this command.
