reset dhcp snooping statistics (system view)

Function

The reset dhcp snooping statistics command resets statistics on the number of discarded DHCP packets.

Format

reset dhcp snooping statistics { vlan vlan-id [ interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } ] | interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } | bridge-domain bd-id }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
vlan vlan-id

Indicates statistics on the number of DHCP packets that are discarded in a VLAN.

The value of vlan-id is an integer that ranges from 1 to 4094.

interface interface-type interface-number

Specifies the type and number of an interface. It indicates statistics on the number of DHCP packets that are discarded on an interface.

Specifies the name of an interface. It indicates statistics on the number of DHCP packets that are discarded on an interface.

bridge-domain bd-id

Specifies the BD ID.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 16777215.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After the alarm function for discarded DHCP packets is enabled, the system counts the number of discarded DHCP packets. To get accurate statistics on the number of discarded DHCP packets after DHCP snooping is enabled, run the reset dhcp snooping statistics command to reset statistics on the number of discarded DHCP packets.
