snmp-agent trap type

Function

The snmp-agent trap type command configures the way to send traps to NMS.

The default configuration is base-trap.

snmp-agent trap type { base-trap | entity-trap }

undo snmp-agent trap type [ base-trap | entity-trap ]

Usage Scenario

To change the format of traps sent to the NMS, run the snmp-agent trap type command.

Indicates the detailed alarm information provided to the user in base-trap mode.
The entity-trap mode is used to provide entity alarm information to users. The types and contents of the information is more abundant.
Generally, the base-trap mode is recommended.

Precautions

This command is supported only by the admin VS.
