active port-l3vpn

Function

The active port-l3vpn command activates L3VPN interface licenses for a board in batches.

The undo active port-l3vpn command deactivates L3VPN interface licenses for a board in batches.

By default, L3VPN interface licenses are not activated for a board.

Format

active port-l3vpn slot slot-id card card-id port port-list

undo active port-l3vpn slot slot-id card card-id [ port port-list ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
card card-id

Specifies a subcard ID.

The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 20.

port port-list

Specifies the interface list of a board, with the interfaces separated by commas (,) or hyphens (-).

The value is a string of 1 to 255 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.

slot slot-id

Specifies the slot ID of a board.

The value is a string of 1 to 15 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The L3VPN service can be configured on a board only after L3VPN interface licenses are activated for the board.

Prerequisites

Before configuring L3VPN interface licenses for a board, complete the following tasks:

  • Run the license active command to activate the license file on the main board.
  • Run the active port-basic command to activate basic hardware licenses for interfaces on a board in a batch.

Precautions

This command applies only to the Admin-VS.
